How do I apply the Natural Beeswax Paste?
Scoop a nickel-sized amount of product with your fingertips. Work vigorously in the palms to warm it up making it soft, pliable, and easier to distribute throughout the hair. Apply evenly starting at the crown of your head and working towards the front. For combed and longer styles, may need to dampen hair slightly for better application. Apply more if necessary.
What type of finish does it provide?
It provides a natural matte finish that's not greasy looking and it won't leave sticky residue or flakes in your hair.
Does it wash out easily?
Yes, it's water-based and does not contain petroleum oil type ingredients which means it washes out easily with water.
What does it smell like?
It features a light vanilla scent that’s not overpowering and won’t interfere with your cologne.
Not a fan of the new formula
I’ve been using this hair paste for many years, and it has always been one of my go-to products. That’s why my latest experience was extremely disappointing.
My experience with the recent order:
Delivery took almost a month, which is a very long time.
When the package arrived, I noticed that none of the five jars were sealed – the lids opened with no resistance. In the past, every jar was properly sealed and felt secure.
The texture and scent of the product are completely different and noticeably worse than what I was used to. It feels like an entirely new, lower-quality formula, yet there was no information anywhere that anything had changed.
Since I’ve been using this product for years, I immediately recognized that something was wrong.
I emailed customer support asking for clarification, but I never received any reply, which was very disappointing.
Overall, I’m truly unhappy with this experience. A formula change this significant should never happen without informing customers.
Super disappointing. Received my new beeswax paste after waiting months for it to be in stock. Why would you change what was a great product and what got me hooked on Mister Pompadour for the past several years? Gave us no heads up or warning this was happening. This new paste looks different, smells different, and feels different. It’s got a weird grey color and consistency and does not smell good like the old formula. I will not even attempt to put this in my hair. Do not like it at all. Will most likely be finding a new hair care supplier and be cancelling my subscription. This is not how you treat loyal customers!
I thought I got sent the wrong product at first, it’s very different and I’m glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t care for it. Please go back to the original product
This totally whack not even the same old formula. Wasted my money for this. Why the changes all of sudden. It’s not thick like before. The image attach shown how different these two are
